A spiritual marriage is the only real marriage. And in my mind, a spiritual spouse is someone who loves Yah more than you. That’s SUPER important because first and foremost, we are married to Yah. Our earthly spouse must come second or it becomes idolatry, a horrible sin.
Yah hates divorce, but when we marry who we choose, instead of who is chosen for us, it’s often inevitable. Yah knows who we need to be with. Trust Her to bring you your ideal mate. And if you married outside of the will of Yah, trust Her to break it up and place you with the right person. I have read far too many testimonies of people who were taken on hell visitations and saw people in there because of not forgiving their spouse. Makes me wonder if that wasn’t their chosen spouse to begin with, and if they refused to separate from them, ending up in eternal damnation?
“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.” Matthew 18:8
