Some people think Jesus is too far above the mundane problems of everyday life. Nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus said “I am with you until the end of the age.” We shouldn’t take those two words “with you” lightly. I can testify from my personal experience that no matter how small or trivial the issue, our best friend is here to help us through it. All we have to do is trust!

And if we can teach this to little children, they will grow up never feeling alone, frightened, and be able to much more effectively deal with life issues, knowing they have a helper with them every step of the way.

Miracle Car Story

One of the best testimonials I have ever heard is the case of the car that drove three years without a transmission! It was purchased by an evangelist who thought it had been fixed by the time he arrived at the mechanic’s home a few days later. If I recall correctly, the mechanic who sold it knew he would have to tow it away because the transmission had been completely removed. But he left his wife to collect the money and wasn’t there when the evangelist arrived. (Update: This testimony is via video, and when I find the link I’ll post it).

After paying for it he simply got in and drove off. The kicker to this story is that because the car was being driven to do God’s work, it worked supernaturally. But 3 years later when it was sold to another party and they and another person began to argue in the car (emit negative energy), it suddenly broke down. When they towed it to a mechanic, he could not believe they were ever driving the car, because the car had no transmission.

The Printer Restoration

Today I had a similar incident. My printer broke down and I had a spare printer in the garage that hadn’t been used for more than three years. Even though it had barely been used, chances were high the printheads were permanently clogged, but I took a chance and tried to clean them out. Sidenote: I had bought two of the same printers a few years back for my art business and they are now out of manufacture, so I can’t get a new one. And these particular printers were chosen specifically for their ability to make a certain type of print, so I can’t just buy any printer, I’ve got to do research to find out what printer and which inks will work for my needs – very tedious, and I just don’t have time for all that at the moment. Plus, I really love this printer! And have a lot of ink stocked up for it. So I continued to clean the print heads and do head cleanings and nozzle checks.

After a while it made small progress in that it was printing in one color, yet very very faintly. I then prayed over the printer, asking Yashua (Jesus) to touch it and bring it back to life. Nothing happened for more than a day. I kept doing the head cleanings and no progress was made, in fact it took a few steps backwards, as the printing was getting fainter, if it printed at all. I was ready to throw it out.

Then, something told me to print out a tract (religious flyer) regarding being saved that I distribute to people when I’m out on the street. Can I tell you that that tract printed perfectly? I was floored. After that I printed out another document that printed just fine. I praised Yashua so loudly, the neighbors can probably tell you every word I said.

As small and as meaningless as a tech gadget going down, Yashua was here to help me through it. Another aspect of this testimony, is I believe Yashua used this incident to send me a message. Because I am also using the printer to do God’s work, Yashua was showing me He will cause miracles as long as I continue to do this work. And to Him, large miracles are just as easy as the small ones. Blessings.
