My daughter had this dream about 2 days ago. And today it came to mind that maybe I should share it. So I asked, and was given the OK. So here it goes:
Quickly, before I get there I want to say she had what I think is a prophetic dream a few years back about what the world would be like after Messiah comes. And it was simply beautiful. The world was peaceful, fresh, and people were happy and things were just perfect. The air was even lighter and everything brighter. It was like this world with a maximum upgrade or remodel. But I don’t dwell on it because I don’t want to assume I’m gonna make it. I prefer to keep on the narrow path and pray every day that I will be in the number chosen, it just works for me. Keeps me striving.
So this dream is kinda like that one, in that it had a big effect on her…and me.
She dreamed she was walking home from her friend’s house down the street, just an ordinary day. And looked up and saw angels in the sky holding hands. She started freaking out thinking, OMG, Messiah is coming! Then she came inside to tell us and there was an angel in our living room. And some other people too. So the angel opens a portal right there in the living room and said it was a portal to hell. And that many people were going there. Then she for some crazy reason (in telling me the dream she said she has no earthly idea why she did this), she jumps in the portal out of curiosity, not that she wanted to visit hell. And she was half in it, her legs were down in it. But it didn’t suck her in like she thought it might. So she jumped back out.
She didn’t tell me all this right away but was looking kinda weird that day and finally told me when she got her mind together. Because again, it really affected her.
My questions to her:
1. What did the angel look like? She said he had a beard and glasses (that was strange to me). And very nice. Couldn’t tell his race because his skin was like golden light.
2. Did it seem really real to you? YES! It was sooo real, she said.
3. Do you think you jumping into the portal was a warning that you’re half in the world and half in hell, like you need to get it together? (I didn’t say the ‘get it together’ part because all in all she’s a good kid and tries to stay in God’s will. But I was thinking it just to know if she was truly on the right path.) No, she said. She didn’t get that impression. And she said the fact it didn’t suck her in was also a good sign.
So my thoughts are: This dream was a warning that He is coming like he said, like a thief in the night and HIGHLY UNEXPECTED. It will be just like the average day…then boom! (She gave me this impression when telling me about it.)
And it came to me today that the glasses on the angel was symbolic, like he was giving her a vision of the future or teaching her something about what to look out for.
And, he’s coming SOON. Yeah soon could be 5 years, but it could also be 5 days or 5 minutes. The point is, in most of our lifetimes. There’s all kinds of parables in the Bible talking about how many people will be unprepared and not expect him because they will get caught up with the cares of this life. So regardless of when he comes, we need to think like “it could be today.” That also came to me the other day, to stop thinking about what I’m gonna do tomorrow because he could come tonight and my mind wouldn’t be ready cause I’m thinking about the future.
