Things are almost never what they seem. When I took an art class, my teacher told me I needed to learn to “see.” That was confusing. But eventually I got it. I had to learn to see as an artist, to see the world in a different way, in order to create. It took a while, and it was necessary. I had to see ‘behind’ the brain, behind how things ‘appear’ from the viewpoint of the mind, because in actuality, most people ‘see’ through our thoughts, not the eyes. Only little children still see from that innocent, non-processing standpoint…because they are still close to Yah.
“And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3)
When Yah entered flesh, in the body of the Messiah, the leaders of the day, and others, couldn’t comprehend that this was the Creator of the world. They couldn’t get past the idea that a thin, seemingly unattractive man (by accounts not my personal opinion), was the King of King and Lord of Lords. They were blinded by satan, who is still laughing at them right now.
“He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.” (John 1:10)
We are living in dangerous times. Today, we have a generation of people being raised in a false world. A generation that is much blind and deceived. This is the last generation before The Messiah returns – thankfully.
Social media was a means used to connect with loved ones. But it’s been infiltrated by demonic forces. Today, between filters and makeup, women and men no longer are who they appear to be. It’s downright scary. Men are taking steroids to try and fit a false ideal of what they believe women want. Women are walking around with plastic inside of their bodies, trying to be anything but themselves. Some people are bleaching their skin. Others are fighting for tans. And all of these cause various health problems and side effects. Is it worth it?
Does the world not realize these are insults against the Most High who made us in His/Her image? Yah is PERFECT, and in reality, so are we. Only the demons have convinced us that we have to alter things, which is in truth a neverending quest and a swift race to the bottom. People who are born again, ‘see’ with a new mind, and therefore are at peace with things. If you feel something is missing, you haven’t yet found the overwhelming LOVE that is in Christ, but keep seeking! He is our first and last true love! If people around you have convinced you that you need to be what you’re not, those are the wrong people and they are dangerous, get them out of your circle. The right people/person will love you no matter what, unconditionally and without qualification.
I’m not saying one shouldn’t strive to look their best. But too much emphasis on the external is called vanity, and it is a deadly sin. I know, I used to be there… but for the grace of the Most High…
So we have a choice. Do we live in the real world – the spirit world – or the physical world and it’s even faker version, the world of social media? Because one day we will all have to answer to the Most High in terms of how we lived this life and what we did with it.
Came across these vids and thought they connect well with this article. Be blessed!
