I sometimes use the word ‘Christian’ for lack of a better word. Because modern Christianity is more like a religion. And most if not all religions are cults.
Messiah never built one church. Yet we are called to worship.
Messiah never created an organization. But some call the church an organized group.
We are simply told to Believe, to Repent, to be Pure, to Have Faith, to Give, to Share, to Pray for People, to Clothe the naked, to Feed the Hungry, Visit the sick and those in prison. We are called to be Kind, Humble, Forgiving and Loving. To Give without expectation of receiving. To be Obedient. To share the Good News of the Gospel. To not judge but Uplift others. And to Respect our Brothers and Sisters. And most importantly, to Deny Ourselves, Pick up our Cross Daily and follow the Guidance of our Lord and King.
Those who follow Christ are more accurately called Believers. Those who call themselves Christians are most often deceived. Blessings.
